NATIONAL JUNIOR LEAGUE HALTON 2018-2019 – Final Day

The final day of the National Junior League played at Halton on 9th March, once again brought success to the Academy. Represented by Sam Jeffries, Ben Strapps & Reece Bond, the team secured runners up in the second division. The lads playing for the first time in the junior league & playing in a higher division than anticipated, actually won all their matches over the course of the four weekends played throughout the season. However, the competition is based on the most games won overall, despite match results & whilst they had to recover a differential of 3 games before competition commenced, they only missed out on the title by 1 game. A fantastic achievement with all players competing in a very tense atmosphere with great determination & team spirit. A big thankyou also for the support of Thomas Hurst & Matt Edmondson, playing in earlier rounds of the competition.
