Just letting everyone know that Mandy had a foot operation last week so will be out of action for a good number of weeks.
So, in case you were wondering hasn’t ‘deserted’ us!! Mandy is keeping in close contact with all of the Committee members as well as some of you who are representing The Academy in the National Cadet and Junior Leagues.
As soon as she is able Mandy will pop in to see everyone on Friday nights.
So in the mean time you will be looked after in the very capable hands of Coaches Lindsey, Dave and occasionally by Doug.
Our new Coach Assistant Carl has been away for 3 weeks sunning himself in Cuba and will be back this Friday. Carl has many years coaching experience and still plays competitive table tennis.
We have had some new Members join us recently who we welcome and hope they are enjoying their table tennis with us. As a result, to make room for them we have moved a few regulars from the first session to the second session now they are improving their table tennis skills. Our coaches are constantly reviewing everyone’s skills and as they get more proficient they will move them from the first to the second session.
With these new Members joining us we are getting close to ‘full capacity’ but if you know of any of your friends who you think would enjoy some table tennis coaching then ask them to contact me. We still have space to accommodate a few more in the first session.
