The Academy team of Harry Bell, Max Brooks and Josh Dalton started the last of four fixtures just five points behind Glossop who were top of the division. In the third fixture the boys drew with Glossop and they drew again in this last fixture. Three wins plus one other draw just wasn’t enough to overtake Glossop at the top of the table but finished a very creditable second in their first year in the Junior League.
